CAMPARI - TALES OF THE COCKTAIL
Tales of the Cocktail is an annual trade conference, festival, and gathering of cocktail and spirits enthusiasts in New Orleans, Louisiana.
In 2019, we held several activations for Campari’s award-winning brands during Tales of the Cocktail, including:
Campari Group - Ode to the bowl
Hosted by the Campari Group and The Spare Room, Ode to the Bowl brought proprietors and bartenders from all over the world to compete in a bowling tournament for ultimate bragging rights.
Campari Italian Portfolio - Afternoon Aperitivo
The Afternoon Aperitivo experience was hosted by the Campari Italian Portfolio to celebrate 100 years of the Negroni at Curio, in the heart of the French Quarter. The event was hosted in partnership with Dante, named World’s Best Bar at the 2019 Spirited Awards.
The Campari experience came to life between two floors - on the first floor, we toasted to 100 years of the Negroni and upstairs, we delighted with our family of Amari cocktails.
Wild Turkey - The Vault
The first family of bourbon, the Russels, offered tastes of the most exceptional expressions from the distillery’s recent history as well as a host of classic cocktails. A makeshift “vault” was brought in to sample some of these rare bottles, and Cochon provided a custom spread of classic southern fare to taste alongside the whiskey.
Grand Marnier - L’Apero hour
Grand Marnier presented an afternoon fête or L’Apero Hour that brought together two bars 1,300 miles apart - Jesse Carr from Justine in New Orleans and McClain Hedges from Morin in Denver to serve up their own distinct taste on classic French elegance.
